Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle

Event: Soldiers’ 50/50: May 8, 2021 to April 29, 2022


         1.     The lottery draws will take place at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) Foundation office 146 Mississaga St. W., Orillia, Ontario, L3V 3B3 at the dates and times listed below.  The winners will be posted at


2. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 5050 Raffle: 

Employees of OSMH Foundation

Persons under the age of 18 

Intoxicated Persons 

3. Tickets are: 

10 raffle numbers for $10

40 raffle numbers for $20

150 raffle numbers for $50

400 raffle numbers for $100

4. In order to qualify for a chance to win the 50/50 raffle patrons must purchase a ticket for the current 50/50 draw.  

5. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle systems supplied by Bump Worldwide Inc., an approved vendor of the AGCO. 

6. Raffle tickets will be available online only at:  Online purchases shall be made by credit card exclusively. 

7. After purchase, patrons will be provided a digital receipt with their registered 50/50 Raffle numbers from Bump Worldwide’s Random Selection System.  No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

8. The Early Bird and 50/50 Raffle winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for that 50/50 Raffle. All Early Bird prize winners’ ticket will remain valid for that month’s main draw.

9. The estimated amount of the 50/50 Raffle prize and monthly early bird prize will be shown on:

10. The winner shall be contacted by phone and/or email provided during the ticket purchase checkout process.

11. Should there be any dispute over the identity of the purchaser of a winning ticket for the raffle draws, the issue will be forwarded to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and appropriate authorities for guidance.

12. The Early Bird and 50/50 Raffle ticket holders have 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw.

13. When a winning ticket is presented, the winner must: show 1 piece of Government issued ID proving their age to be over 18, and complete the OSMH Foundation Raffle Prize Claim Form. 

14. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided or the 6 month period to claim a prize is expired as outlined. 

15. In the event that no winner comes forward, funds will be held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be dispersed appropriately with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). 

16. The prizes will be paid by cheque and must be accepted as awarded.

17. All prize winners agree to have their name and prize information publicized by OSMH Foundation.
